Garden party on the Saturday before the parade
On the Saturday before the largest theatre parade of the year, the Town Hall Garden is the place to be. Join us for the Garden Party, a full day of entertainment for all ages, running from 2:00 PM until 11:00 PM.
The afternoon is dedicated to children, with plenty of opportunities to get creative and join in the fun. Meanwhile, parents can enjoy a varied programme of live music and street theatre throughout the afternoon and evening.

GARDEN PARTY: A FULL DAY OF ENTERTAINMENT FOR ALL AGES
On Saturday 29 August, the Town Hall Garden in Heeze comes alive with the Garden Party: a wonderful afternoon and evening filled with live music, street theatre and family entertainment. It's the perfect way to get into the Brabantsedag spirit before the biggest theatre parade of the year takes place the following day.
This year's programme is packed with surprises. During the day, visitors can join the Gooi en Smijt Circus by Circus Factory. Children and adults alike can learn to juggle, balance and discover their hidden circus talents under the guidance of professional circus instructors.
You'll also encounter Luc Vaesen, who wanders through the garden entertaining visitors with music, humour and spontaneous interaction. From well-known songs to witty conversations, he creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere wherever he goes.
Don't miss The Flying Suitcase, a delightful roaming performance full of wonder, comedy and unexpected encounters. Before you know it, you'll find yourself right in the middle of the show.
This year, Aerdrijk presents its new act, The Movies. Enjoy famous television themes, iconic film music, lively marches, cheerful instrumental pieces and beautiful two-part harmonies.
As evening falls, the celebration moves to the main stage. Local rock band Rancho Grande kicks off the evening with an energetic live performance, followed by the Ultimate Cover Band, bringing a party filled with familiar hits, sing-along favourites and dance classics. Between the live performances, DJ Harald van Schie keeps the music going and the atmosphere alive.
The Garden Party is the perfect start to the Brabantsedag weekend. Come and enjoy the music, theatre, food and festive atmosphere. Admission is free.

While parents, grandparents, uncles and aunts put the finishing touches on the spectacular theatre floats, children can enjoy an afternoon full of fun in the Town Hall Garden.
They can have their faces painted, bake bread, build wooden creations and get creative with arts and crafts. The popular Children's Hair Salon returns as well, transforming hairstyles into colourful works of art.
And of course, no Children's Afternoon would be complete without the surprise stall and delicious ice cream for a fun-filled afternoon everyone will remember.
