Entertainment everywhere in Heeze

Brabantsdag Heeze is a complete experience, with a well-filled programme around the highlight, the largest theatre parade of the year.

From 11.00 hours you can enjoy (street) theatre and music along the route and on the Sfeerpleinen. As soon as the towering theatre parade passes, the programme stops.

THE SQUARES

Brabantsedag Heeze is the place where culture, music, and theatre come together in a vibrant event held on a Sunday in August. Starting at 11 AM, Heeze is transformed into a lively cultural hub. Of course, the theatre parade is the highlight of the day, but there is plenty to experience before and after in the Pearl of Brabant.

PARADE ROUTE

From 11:00 AM, the parade route offers a full programme of music, street theatre and entertainment.

Meet Stalen Ros, an extraordinary mobile creation that looks as though it has rolled straight out of a fantasy world. With its mechanical movements, remarkable details and playful interaction, it captivates audiences of all ages.

You'll also encounter Luc Vaesen, who entertains the crowd with familiar songs, humour and spontaneous performances. The Kale Baronnes delight visitors with cheerful interactions and unexpected moments, while Ami6, Trio Vrij Vrolijk and Nautilus travel along the route with music, entertainment and plenty of fun. Aerdrijk once again adds musical surprises throughout the day.

The performers of Abacus Theater present their latest production, Crazy Circus Parade—a colourful, joyful spectacle guaranteed to bring smiles to everyone's face.

Before the theatre parade begins, the Pre-Parade features performances by Jachthoorn- & Trompetterkorps Gemert, Jong Leven and the Royal Woensel Music Corps, setting the perfect atmosphere for the biggest theatre parade of the year.

ENTERTAINMENT SQUARES

The four entertainment squares around the parade route each offer their own unique atmosphere and programme throughout the day.

TOWN HALL GARDEN

The Town Hall Garden is the perfect place to relax, enjoy live music and meet friends and family. At Gooi en Smijt, visitors of all ages can learn to juggle, balance and even ride a unicycle under the guidance of professional circus instructors.

After the theatre parade, the festivities continue with Wildman, whose energetic blend of garage rock and blues, roaring guitars and the unmistakable sound of a Hammond organ creates the perfect soundtrack for a summer afternoon.

THEATRE SQUARE TOVERSNEST

If you enjoy live music and a lively atmosphere, Theatre Square Toversnest is the place to be. Before the parade, Roet Solei fills the square with nostalgic songs full of warmth, passion and emotion.

Once the final float has passed, Mrs Hips, led by Simone Roerade, takes over with an energetic live show featuring soul, jazz and funk. Their infectious enthusiasm and outstanding musicianship make standing still almost impossible.

STRABRECHTPLEIN

After the parade, Strabrechtplein becomes the meeting place for float builders and visitors alike. Here, the float builders enjoy their traditional post-parade meal while visitors relax and reflect on everything they've seen.

The theatre parade passes the square at approximately 2:30 PM, after which JD Walker Epic 80's delivers a lively performance packed with powerful guitars, classic rock hits and an energetic stage presence.

GELDROPSEWEG

The Geldropseweg offers a welcoming atmosphere where music and conviviality take centre stage. From 11:00 AM, Just4Fun performs a broad repertoire of well-known songs. Their enthusiasm is contagious, making it easy for the audience to join in and enjoy the music.

In short: on Sunday, 30 August, Heeze offers a full day of music, street theatre, live performances and entertainment for all ages, crowned by the largest theatre parade of the year. Arrive early, enjoy the atmosphere and experience a day filled with culture, music and theatre.
