Emergency route during Brabantsedag

On behalf of the municipality of Heeze-Leende:

As the municipality of Heeze-Leende, we are proud to welcome you to our municipality for a masterly experience such as the Brabantsedag. We know for sure that the weather will be a spectacular and impressive weekend. With more than 30,000 people on the move, it is necessary to take some traffic measures, so that you can enjoy a safe Brabantsedag for 61 years. Let's all make sure that the 62nd is also safe! Have fun on the Brabantsedag!

Emergency route: when every second counts!

With more than 30,000 visitors, it is necessary to keep a route free for emergency services. You are not allowed to park and/or stand still along the emergency route. Please don't do that either, because there is a towing scheme here and that will cost you dearly. Residents along this route must park their cars on their own premises (driveway). Do not leave your car on the side of the road. Even if you are on holiday yourself. The calamity route is partly closed to motorized traffic from 8.00 am.

Paraderoute

Everyone wants to experience the parade up close, by getting a place around the track. In case of calamities, it is important that we can help everyone well and quickly. We would like to ask you not to place large furniture along the route. These pieces of furniture obstruct the walking route and hinder the emergency services in case of calamities. Folding chairs are allowed, because they can be removed within seconds. In addition to being safe, it is also friendly and hospitable to visitors if some space remains available in the first row. Wheelchair visitors and visitors who are a bit smaller can also enjoy the parade. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

Parking prohibition

Heeze is a very cosy, hospitable village. That is what we would like to be during the Brabantsedag. That's why there are good signs everywhere where you can easily park your car to visit our hospitable village on foot. In the neighbourhoods there is a ban on parking on a number of streets, otherwise these areas will not be accessible to the emergency services "if every second counts". If you want to visit family or friends in Heeze during the Brabantsedag, make sure you arrive before 8.00 am. You can still get there by car (almost) everywhere. Be careful where you are not allowed to park. From 8.00 am we close a part of Heeze for motorized traffic. All this to make sure that the 62nd Brabantsedag runs safely. Traffic controllers show you the way. At points where you are not allowed to drive, there are traffic controllers. They will be happy to help you further on your way. So feel free to ask your question, but also quickly follow the instructions of these controllers to improve the flow of traffic. You may have to make a detour. We ask for your understanding.
