The most enjoyable weekend of the year in Heeze

On Sunday 25 August, the 62nd Brabantsedag erupts. The day before, there is also a lot to do in Heeze. A complete overview of the programme and the parade.

SATURDAY 24 AUGUST

CHILDREN'S AFTERNOON - TOWN HALL GARDEN

While dads, mothers, grandparents, grandmothers, uncles and aunts are putting the finishing touches to the rolling stage sets, the children are under the pans in the Gemeentehuistuin.

ART MARKET - TOWN HALL SQUARE

Visual art on the Gemeentehuisplein, with music and other performances in the Gemeentehuistuin: The Flavorics, a young formation of old music crap; the headstrong, poetic pop by singer-songwriter Iris Penning; clown Arno Huibers who plays interactive family performance De Verkleedkoffer together with music virtuoso Paul van der Heijden; mobile & global exhibition and continuous story theatre Show Your Hope about 'Hoop' by Martin Voorbij from Eindhoven and Stick Stok by TeaTime Company, a mix of dance and circus, with a dose of Chinese poles and juggling.

BRABANTSE NIGHT - TOWN HALL GARDEN

Before Heeze fills up with tens of thousands of guests again, first there's the crackling party with cover band Handsome Willy and the Leftovers and the metal-sauce-down pop classics by Patatje Metal.

SUNDAY 25 AUGUST

A complete music and theatre programme at the five atmosphere and taste squares in open-air theatre Heeze. During the largest theatre parade of the year, the programme is of course halted, because for more than two hours all attention is focused on the 2,000 actors and their rolling, house-high theatre sets.

(By Noble Music Relaxation) from Houthalen, Belgium.
