The Municipality of Heeze-Leende is proud to welcome you to our beautiful community for the Brabantsedag! With more than 30,000 visitors expected, several traffic measures are necessary to ensure everyone can enjoy the event safely.
With over 30,000 visitors, it is essential to keep a clear route available for emergency services. Parking or stopping along the emergency route is strictly prohibited. Vehicles parked in these areas are subject to towing, which may result in significant costs. Residents living along the route are requested to park their vehicles on their own property whenever possible. The emergency route will be partially closed to motorised traffic from 8:00 AM onwards.
To ensure emergency services can respond quickly if needed, we kindly ask visitors not to place large items of furniture along the parade route. These may obstruct pedestrian access and hinder emergency vehicles. Folding chairs are permitted, as they can easily be removed if necessary. Please also leave space at the front of the route for wheelchair users and younger visitors, so everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the parade.
During Brabantsedag, parking restrictions apply in several streets to guarantee access for emergency services. Plenty of designated parking areas are available, allowing you to explore our welcoming village on foot. If you plan to visit friends or family in Heeze, we recommend arriving before 8:00 AM, as most roads are still accessible by car before then. Please pay close attention to the parking restrictions. From 8:00 AM, parts of Heeze will be closed to motorised traffic to ensure the safety of the event.
From Thursday, 27 August, 5:00 PM, and throughout Friday, 28 August, and Monday, 31 August, one-way traffic will be in effect along parts of the parade route due to the construction and dismantling of the grandstands.
