Saturday, 22 August 2026 – Heeze Town Centre, 7:00 PM
HEEZE – The Brabantsedag Children's Parade has become a beloved tradition in the lead-up to the Brabantsedag. On Saturday evening, 22 August, as many as 450 children will parade through the streets of Heeze with their own handmade creations. Featuring miniature theatre floats, colourful costumes and boundless enthusiasm, they will bring this year's theme, Pulling Out All the Stops, to life in their own unique way. Everyone is warmly invited to come and enjoy this special evening.
Building, collaborating and performing are deeply rooted in Heeze's DNA. From an early age, children experience what makes the Brabantsedag so special. The Brabantsedag Foundation gives them their own stage, where creativity, imagination and teamwork take centre stage. Just like in the main theatre parade, each group has its own title board, is accompanied by parade marshals, and every participant receives a commemorative shield after the parade.
The Children's Parade starts at 7:00 PM from the parking area next to St. Martin's Church (near D'n Toversnest). The route follows Jan Deckersstraat, Schoolstraat and Spoorlaan, ending in the Town Hall Garden. As in previous years, the parade will not pass the Nicasiushuis, keeping the route manageable for the young participants.
The following groups will take part in the 2026 Children's Parade (in random order):
Every year, the Children's Parade shows that the future of the Brabantsedag is in good hands—and we couldn't be prouder of that.
With imagination, enthusiasm and plenty of creativity, the youngest participants are already helping to build the tradition of tomorrow. Once again, it promises to be a festive evening for both participants and visitors alike.
We look forward to seeing you on 22 August!
