On Sunday, 30 August, Dutch Railways (NS) will operate additional trains to the 67th Brabantsedag in Heeze. Regular services will also run with longer trains to accommodate the expected number of visitors. From Heeze railway station, it is approximately a 10-minute walk to the theatre parade route. The parade starts at 1:30 PM.
During the Brabantsedag, sixteen float-building groups and around 2,000 performers bring historical stories from the former Duchy of Brabant to life through theatre, music, costumes and spectacular towering moving theatre floats. All creations are inspired by this year's theme: Pulling Out All the Stops.
An extra train will depart Eindhoven at 12:47 PM for Weert, stopping in Heeze along the way. The same train will return from Weert at 1:20 PM towards Eindhoven.
In addition, all regular trains on the route will operate with extra carriages.
After the parade, an additional train will depart Heeze for Weert at 4:47 PM, while an extra Sprinter service will leave Heeze for Eindhoven at 5:20 PM. Regular return services will also run with longer trains to accommodate visitors travelling home.
