Practical information for the 67th Brabantsedag
The 67th Brabantsedag is almost here! On Sunday, 30 August 2026, Heeze will once again become the stage for the largest theatre parade of the year. Planning to visit? Here's everything you need to know before you come.
When is the Brabantsedag?
The Brabantsedag takes place on Sunday, 30 August 2026, in the centre of Heeze.
The pre-parade starts at 12:30 PM, featuring marching bands and other participants warming up the audience along the parade route.
The official theatre parade begins at 1:30 PM. Sixteen float-building groups, around 2,000 performers, spectacular theatre floats, music and live performances bring the history of the Duchy of Brabant to life.
What's this year's theme?
The theme of the 67th Brabantsedag is Pulling Out All the Stops.
The sixteen float-building groups have explored the history of the Duchy of Brabant, searching for remarkable stories that have never before been portrayed at the Brabantsedag.

How do I get tickets?
Tickets can be purchased in advance at brabantsedag.nl/tickets.
Online ticket: €13.50
At the ticket office on the day: €14.50
Children up to and including 12 years: Free admission
You can also purchase a Support Ticket through one of the sixteen float-building groups (€13.50, of which €2.50 goes directly to the group).
Important times
08:00 AM – Roads around the parade route are closed to traffic.
09:30 AM – Ticket offices open. From this moment, a valid admission ticket is required to enter the event area, including if you arrive by bicycle.
11:00 AM – The theatre squares open with live music, street theatre, food and drinks.
12:30 PM – Pre-parade.
1:30 PM – Start of the theatre parade. The parade departs from Ginderover and lasts a little over two hours.
Getting here & parking
By car: Heeze is easily accessible via the A2 (exit 34) and A67 (exit 34).
Parking: Follow the signs to the official parking areas. Parking costs €5 per car.
By train: Heeze railway station is approximately a 10-minute walk from the parade route. Dutch Railways (NS) will operate longer trains on the day.
By bicycle: Supervised bicycle parking is available at the entrances to the village. Cyclists may still enter after 8:00 AM, but from 9:30 AM onwards a valid admission ticket is required. Once inside the event area, please walk with your bicycle rather than riding it along the parade route.
Road closures: Roads leading to the parade route are closed to traffic from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM.
Emergency route: Parking and stopping along the designated emergency route is strictly prohibited.
Accessible parking: Parking area P4, next to Dorpshuis 't Perron, is reserved for visitors with a valid disabled parking permit (subject to availability).

Safety during the parade
Never enter the parade route while the parade is in progress.
This also applies if you want to take photos or videos. Only official Brabantsedag photographers, identifiable by their official clothing, are allowed on the parade route.
