HEEZE – Did you enjoy the 67th Brabantsedag and would you like to be part of the event yourself next year? Stichting Brabantsedag is looking for new volunteers. Extra helping hands are particularly welcome in hospitality and the facilities team.
The Brabantsedag is made possible by hundreds of volunteers. They ensure that everything surrounding the theatre parade runs smoothly: from preparing and setting up the village to welcoming and taking care of the many visitors.
For the next edition, the organisation is once again looking for additional volunteers, particularly for the hospitality and facilities teams. Hospitality volunteers can help behind the bar or with other catering activities during the event. The facilities team focuses on the practical side of the Brabantsedag, including setting up and dismantling event areas and carrying out various tasks in and around the parade route.
Becoming a volunteer does not mean you have to spend the entire year working on the Brabantsedag. People who can only help in the run-up to the event, during the Brabantsedag weekend or even for just a few hours are more than welcome.
No previous experience is required. What matters most is that you enjoy working together, getting stuck in and being part of the large team behind the Brabantsedag.
As a visitor, you see the end result. As a volunteer, you also experience everything that happens behind the scenes. You meet new people, work together on one of the largest cultural events in the Netherlands and discover the Brabantsedag from a completely different perspective.
