This year Brabantedag Heeze will also be opened with the children's parade, on Saturday August 18th. Children between the ages of 6 and 14 can now register to participate.
Last year the first edition of the children's parade was received enthusiastically and more than eighty children participated. This year they will be able to let go of their creativity on the theme 'From Ravenstein to Roosendaal'.
For the children's parade, the children can think of everything themselves: from the car or dance or walking group to the game, and from the clothing to the shot. "We think it is important to introduce children and young people to all aspects of the Brabantsedag. After all, young people are the future, and in this way we want to involve them in the event at an early stage. We hope that more fanatical children will join this year," says co-organizer Frank Ikink.
The children's parade departs from the parking lot at the Martinuskerk (at D'n Toversnest), via the Jan Deckersstraat to the municipal garden. There, all the participants will be received with applause by all the car manufacturers' groups. The children's parade is also the official start of the opening party for these groups.
Do you want to participate?
If you are between 6 and 14 years old, you can participate. This is only possible, but you can also do this with your brother or sister, friend, team or classmates, nephews and nieces. You don't have to be a member of a car manufacturing group. And you have time to design and do crafts throughout the summer holiday. Children up to the age of 6 are also allowed to participate, but only with the supervision of a parent.
