Emergency route: when every second counts!

Every year, the municipality of Heeze-Leende sets up an emergency route for your safety and our safety. The following is the message from the Municipality of Heeze-Leende

Emergency route: when every second counts!

With more than 30,000 visitors, it is necessary to keep a route clear for emergency services. You are not allowed to park and/or stand still along the emergency route. Please do not do that either, because here is a towage scheme in place and that will cost you dearly. Residents along this route have to park their cars on site (driveway). So don't leave your car along the road. Not even if you are on holiday yourself. The emergency route is partly closed to motorised traffic from 8:00 a.m. onwards.

Parking ban

Heeze is a very hospitable village. That's what we want to be at Brabantsedag too. Therefore, everywhere is well indicated where you can park your car easily to walk to our welcoming village to visit. In the neighbourhoods, a number of streets are subject to a parking ban because otherwise these neighbourhoods cannot be reached by the emergency services "when every second counts". If you want to visit family or acquaintances in Heeze during the Brabantsedag, make sure that you arrive before 8.00 am. You can then still (almost) anywhere by car. Pay attention to where you are not allowed to park. From 8:00 a.m. we close part of Heeze to motorised traffic. All this to ensure that the 61st Brabantsedag runs safely.

traffic controllers will show you the way

At points where you are not allowed to drive, there are traffic controllers. They will be happy to help you on your way. So do not hesitate to ask your question, but also follow the instructions of these controllers quickly in order to improve the flow of traffic. It may be that you have to detour a bit. We ask for your understanding.
