Activities around Brabantsedag

HEEZE - Last week, Stichting Brabantsedag presented its plans for the new style of Brabantsedag Heeze. The rolling theatre parade remains the highlight of the event. There are, of course, and will continue to be, 'parties' for the local community itself.

The nine-day character of Brabantsedag has been abandoned. However, the weekend before the theatre parade is still the domain of the children's parade and then the opening party for the car manufacturers.

Children's parade

The children's parade, this year for the second time, has up-and-coming car manufacturers, designers and actors from 6 to 14 years of age parade Heeze with their surprisingly creative discoveries within the theme 'from Ravenstein to Roosendaal'. They do so alone or together with brother, sister, friends or with classmates or teammates. Children up to the age of 6 may be accompanied by a parent. You can register for the children's parade until August 1st on brabantsedag.nl/kinderparade. There you will also find all information about it, including the route.

Children's parade, Saturday 18 August, start 19:00

Opening party

The children's parade ends on the town hall square, where all groups of car manufacturers will receive their young colleagues with applause. This is also the starting point for the opening party in the garden of the town hall.

Opening party, Saturday 18 August, from 8 p.m.

Friends of the Brabantsedag-evening

Another tradition that remains: the evening of and before Stichting Vrienden van de Brabantsedag. Friday evening 24 August in Dorpshuis 't Perron promises to be a vibrant evening. Donors and friends will soon receive their invitation and more information. More about the Vrienden van de Brabantsedag on vriendenbrabantsedag.nl

Friends evening, Friday 24 August from 19.30 (by invitation only)

Kids afternoon

While the great Heezenaren finish their creations for Sunday's rolling theatre parade on Saturday, the little Heezenaren are entertained in the municipal garden from 14:00 to 17:00. Of course there is plenty to do and tinker with, including some tasty treats.

Kids afternoon, Saturday 25 August, from 2 p.m.
