Route information

On the last Sunday of August, at 13:30, the Brabantsedag parade starts from the Poortmannen (industrial area).
The route runs along the main road of Heeze: from the Ginderover to the Jan Deckersstraat, Kapelstraat, Geldropseweg and ending at the Pastoor Spieringslaan. From start to finish, it takes over 2 hours of viewing pleasure.

The access to the roads towards the route will be closed from 08:00 AM until 20:00. It is not possible to drive in or out of the district after 08:00. Also pay attention to the emergency routes, because parking along these roads is not allowed.

I’d like to drive onto the course at 11:00 a.m. … is that okay?

That is not possible. Starting at 8:00 a.m. on the last Sunday in August, Heeze will be closed to all motorized traffic at the traffic control points (located along the outer edge of the course). Cyclists are permitted to pass, but starting at 9:30 a.m., only with a valid admission ticket.

Why can't I park my car on the emergency route? My family has lived there for years.

The emergency route has been established for your safety and ours and is being implemented by the Municipality of Heeze-Leende at the request of the police, fire department, and ambulance service. I'm with the press. Is it okay for me to take photos on the course?
