HEEZE - Also this year Brabantsedag Heeze will be preceded by the famous children's parade, on Saturday 17 August. Children from 6 to 14 years old can now register to participate.
This year, all participating children can let go of their creativity on the theme 'What moves Brabanders? For the children's parade, the junior participants come up with everything themselves: from the car or dance or running group to the game, and from the clothing to the make-up.
The children's parade departs at 19.00 hours from the car park at the Martinuskerk. (at D'n Toversnest). The final destination is of course the town hall garden, where the opening party for all car manufacturers' groups begins afterwards.
A few minor changes have been made this year. The route now runs from Toversnest via Jan Deckersstraat, Schoolstraat and Berkelmanspad past the Nicasiushuis, so the grandparents can also enjoy themselves, to the garden. Moreover, no standing still game is allowed anymore, to keep up the pace.
Children between the ages of 6 and 14 can participate; alone, but also with brother or sister, friends, team or classmates, nephews and nieces. It is not necessary to be a member of a car manufacturer's group. Children up to the age of 6 are also allowed to participate, but only if accompanied by a parent.
